Learn and Master Ballroom Dance – The Waltz
The first dance you will learn with the Learn and Master Ballroom Dance course is the Waltz. The Waltz is the most basic and popular ballroom dance and with these three lessons and one workshop you should easily pick it up as your instructors walk (or dance) you through nine basic waltz figures.
- Basic Box – This is a six step figure that forms a box on the floor as you dance
- Box with Underarm Turn – Similar to the basic box but with an underarm turn for the ladies
- Basic Progressive – A step that helps you move around the floor with the line of dance
- Balance Steps – A way to keep dancing when you have nowhere to go
- Fifth Position Balance Steps – A bit more complex balance step
- Open Break with Underarm Turn – A break taken in open position combined with an underarm turn for the ladies
- Left Turning Box – Basic Box step with a quarter turn left
- Right Turning Box – Basic Box step with a quarter turn right
- Simple Twinkle – This is a figure danced in the promenade position as opposed to the closed position
Also topics such as turning a corner, dance floor etiquette, the timing of a waltz, how to put together a simple waltz routine, and pretty much everything you need to know to dance the waltz are contained in these two DVDs. Take a look below at a sample of the lessons you will learn on these DVDs:
Why would you pay hundreds of dollars for dance lessons that don’t teach you anywhere near as much as you will get from these DVDs? Work from home, work at your own pace, repeat lessons if needed, and learn from some of the best instructors on the planet. It should be an easy decision for you to buy the Learn and Master Ballroom Dance DVD course and start learning how to ballroom dance.
